Pistachio Wisconsin Peppercorn Feta Crostini

What you need:

+ 1 c. (6 oz.) crumbled feta cheese with peppercorns (or 1 c. regular feta cheese mixed with 1 tsp. cracked peppercorns)
+ (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
+ 1/3 c. chopped pistachio nuts
+ 1 loaf French bread (12 in. long), cut in 1/2 in. slices
+ 1/3 c. extra-virgin olive oil
What to do:
1. Preheat the broiler.
2. Combine cheeses and nuts; mix well. Set aside.
3. Brush both sides of the bread slices with olive oil, and place the bread on the broiling rack. Broil the bread slices, at least 4 in. below the heating element, until lightly browned on both sides, turning once. Spread each slice with the cheese mixture.
